I've been reading KSBD since book 1, and I understand the initial push of the plot:
- prophecy that there will be a successor to zoss to beat the 7 demigods
- Allison given the key by zoss and brought into the multiverse
- Allison's lame boyfriend is stolen, and for some reason she cares about saving him
- Allison manages to collect some friends and undertakes quests to face off with the 7 demigods to collect their power and fulfil the prophecy.
...
Then a bunch of stuff happens with spike angels, people mention "breaking the wheel" and "Metatron", and Jagganoth kicks off a giant demigod battle after Solomon David won't give up his key to the angel who scratched him.
Basically:
I've lost the plot.
Who wants what?
What would becoming the new conquering king actually mean for Allison? Does she want that?
What is breaking the wheel?
What does Jagganoth actually want? [Edit: as far as I've gotten is he thinks Mottom is working with the thorn angels to grab Zaid the (maybe) successor to Zoss, brings it before the council, they give Zaid to Mammon to hold onto, who promptly sold him to Solomon David. Now Jagganoth is just... fed up with the other demiurges and suspects them? I dunno.]
What's up with those spike angels again? [Edit: Thorn Knights created by Metatron to regain the lost power, see next question's answer.]
Who is Metatron again? [Edit: the last prime angel who lnew all the names (power) of Yisun (god), who Zoss tortured to get them and turn them into the Keys of Kings (what allison and the demiurges have in their head). Also still alive, wants to regain all the keys and give them to Zaid, because they think he is the successor.]
What does Zoss want? (wherever he is.)
What does Incubus want? (Does he still have some psychic connection with Allison?)
What does Gog-agog want? (just chaos and death?)
What does Solomon David actually want? (didn't he want a successor, and to be free of maintaining his kingdom and give up his power? Or was that just all a play?)
What about Allison's companions: Cio and White Chain primarily (but also Princess and... Are the others still friends? I dunno), they can now fuse with Allison and separate at will in a DBZ fusion style thing, ehat do they want? Do they even want to be on this quest?
Someone, please help me!
EDIT: Somehow the article on Zaid seems to be one of the best summaries of the story so far, that plus the article on metatron and the Key of Kings article and a few references directly to the comic and description texts have cleared up quite a bit for me.
But definitely could use 1 plot recap somewhere.

It is known that Incubus usurped the throne, and the victim is still alive. I noticed that the symbol on his throne is the same on Maya's back at the beginning of the story in Hell 71 . Given their history together is it possible that she is the true god? maybe she inherited from Meti, and in killing their master he stole it.
I've been thinking about it for a bit and honestly I just can't nail it down. Is there a definitive answer or something close to one?
If we can find a citation or reference or psalm that would be a help.
We have quite a bit of information on unarmed martial arts, both internal and external, and on the magic system, but we have very little information on fencing styles or on the schools and organizations that teach them...
I am eager to learn about them...
I mean, we don't even know if the Blade Witches and Gun Witches are all female or if they can be male too, or about how Peregrine Knights and Mendicant Knights train, or if Maya's fighting style was created by Ryo-ten-Ryam or Meti of if they just mastered an ancient style or styles...
I just noticed that the comic's pages are enumerated according to book, meaning that chapter and page references alone are not enough to prevent overlap. Should we standardize and institute a numbering system to account for this? The books already have numbers, so to refer to Book 1, Chapter 1, Page 10 we could just make it "1.1:10" or something like that. Currently it's "1:10", which limits us to logging citations from Book 1 only.
