The second chapter of the third volume of Kill Six Billion Demons began to be released on November 16, 2016.[1] It includes nine offerings.
Synopsis[]
Cio retells his dark past as Yabalchoath over dinner in the Yamga; how she stole a piece of Mammon's Key of Kings and was later defeated by the Root Knights. Claiming to deserve her destruction and resurrection as a Blue Devil, she refuses to try and steal Zaid from Yre so as to avoid falling back to her original and monstrous Ebon form. Allison, however, forces her to agree to do so on pain of being cast out from her party.
While resting, Allison's strong façade crumbles down, and Cio offers some cynical advice on not worrying too much about controlling how one changes over time. Meanwhile, White Chain struggles with what she is and what she must be. In the end, Cio commits herself to Allison's cause, no matter where that course may take them.
