The second chapter of the fourth volume of Kill Six Billion Demons began to be released on September 29, 2018.[1] It includes 18 offerings.
Synopsis[]
A year has passed since we last saw Allison and her companions. Now she stands before the desiccated and petrified head of YS-Bey, the Garden God, in Throne, where she proceeds to climb to the chains that decorate her shrine and do some pull-ups - much to the chagrin of the local monk, who has been awakened from his nap by this defilement. The monk berates her for her repeated trainings on the goddess' head, but Oglod, a street vendor who was saved from thugs by Allison, calms him down and prepares a hot meat bun for her as she does some pushups on the street floor. Mollified by Oglod's words and Allison's apology and show of her Key of Kings, the monk is convinced of telling her where the current headquarters of the Golden Pearl Pleasure Guild is.
Allison barges directly at the locale, a rundown pub mostly frequented by Goblins, Devils and a few members of other species. She throws in the Goblin bouncer and uses her training in Empty Palms to punch the Xixo Vong barman into the ceiling, thus starting an all-out brawl with the rest of the Golden Pearl patrons. At first, her superior strength and techniques give her the advantage, but soon she is surrounded and a particularly fast Goblin with two sickles slices her throat. She thrashes about in the ground, but her powers prevent her from actually bleeding out, so she kicks back at the Goblin and restarts the fight - again, her latent abilities allow her to break a dagger driven by a Red Devil into her eye.
As the fight goes on, one of the Goblin thugs runs to the private room where his leader, Omun Vash, is conferring with a group of human women dressed as geishas. He hurriedly informs Vash of the attack, but is soon kicked out of the scene by Allison. When Vash recognizes her scent, she announces her intention to arrest him - but Omun Vash summons forth his new bodyguard, the Red Devil Killboss, to kill her.
The fight begins badly for Allison, whose Empty Palms techniques and invulnerability are little match for the hulking Devil, who also knows martial arts and fights with iron-shod boots. Allison is thrown out into the street through the pub's wall, but before Killboss can continue pummelling her, White Chain drops in on his head from the roof, berating her for her inexcusably sloppy combat performance, as well as the fact that she had decided to attack the Pleasure Guild on her own.
After kicking her into the correct combat stance, the duo attack Killboss together, throwing him back into the Guild. Omun Vash orders the Devil to destroy the Angel and the girl, but he flatly refuses, claiming he isn't paid enough to deal with them. Satisfied, White Chain grabs the Goblin mobster by the throat and arrests him.
