6 Juggernaut Star Scours the Universe,[1](sometimes shortened to Juggernaut Star[2]) an igneous angel,[3] is the "Speaker for Thorns"[3] (presumed to be the leader of the Holy Thorn Knights), a master of the Patram Sword Hand style of martial arts, rides a bio-organic motorcycle, and will stop at nothing to bring Allison to an uncertain end.[1]

Description[]

Juggernaut star wheel

Juggernaut Star's armor wields the wheel that their soul flame is actually contained within

Juggernaut Star's armor is much like that of the other thorn knights, roughly humanoid in appearance, made of the living puresilver exhaled by Metatron 1, and covered with numerous spines and thorns. Of particular note is Juggernaut Star's helmet, which has a single eye slit and 4 blade like protrusions extending towards the front, back, and sides. Juggernaut star mainly fights with the Patram Sword Hand style and can tear through numerous humans and servants with ease,[4] and match other angels using more traditional angelic martial arts.[5] In at least one occasion, Juggernaut Star has been known to actually reside within a wheel of their motorcycle which is then carried by their armor as a weapon. This is presumably to prevent them from being banished should their armor be destroyed (although such an event is still extremely painful).[6]

Outside of their armor, Juggernaut Star usually appears as a skeletal humanoid with shrunken, withered wings. In addition, the four protrusions present on their helmet are also present here. However Juggernaut star also occasionally assumes a more human form with a feminine appearance. It is unknown/unclear if this is how they truly are like, or how they were like at some unknown point in the past[7]In all forms, Juggernaut star possess a golden halo above their head and has been seen riding a bio-mechanical motorcycle made of the shades of sinners and parts that may be angelic in nature.[3]

Personality[]

Juggernaut star is a fanatic, as a member (and presumed leader) of the Thorn Knights, they have a very low opinion of humans and servants, and desires to enact genocide on Throne in order to purge it of mortals.[8] Yet, Juggernaut Star is not free to do this, as they are a self-described slave to 2 Michael and Metatron 1[9] who have different plans regarding the master key and instead plan to install Zaid as the heir to Zoss to bring order to Throne.[10] In addition to their general disdain for humanity as a whole, Juggernaut Star despises Zoss in particular and refers to him as "my enemy".[11]

Juggernaut star face

Juggernaut Star shows a very human face

One of the largest factors influencing Juggernaut Star's actions and outlook is their awareness of the temporal cycle that the universe is trapped in. Juggernaut Star views Zoss as the one responsible for rewinding time over and over again, and their knowledge of the countless repetitions has caused them to become bitter and hateful towards the state of world and anyone who holds it in high regard. Juggernaut star is also uniquely impatient, often acting against the explicit orders of Michael and Metatron in an attempt to expedite the greater plan of restoration.[12]

In addition, Juggernaut Star condemns, and is violently hateful towards angels that express more human characteristics and/or have abandoned upholding the law. Ostensibly, this is because Juggernaut Star sees them as "deviants"[3] or "freaks"[13] who have forsaken the law and have abandoned what an angel should be. Yet, Juggernaut Star is shown to also possess a visage that looks very human and feminine which they rarely show to others. It could be inferred then, that Juggernaut Star's intense hatred of angels like White Chain and Liminal Blossom may contain an element of self-loathing and projection.

History[]

Kill Six Billion Demons[]

Juggernaut Star is first seen leading a party of Thorn Knights riding through Allison's bedroom on the lightning. Juggernaut Star personally decapitates Zoss with their hand while riding a shade-like creature.[14] One of the other Thorn Knights in the party grabs Zaid before teleporting out. It is later revealed that the raiding party was intercepted by Jagganoth and that Zaid was taken from their possession. [15]

Juggernaut star wheel attack

Juggernaut Star kills Liminal Blossom with the wheel of their motorcycle

Juggernaut Star is next seen meeting 82 White Chain Born in Emptiness Returns to Subdue Evil in the void after the latter has been banished by 2 Michael.[3] Juggernaut Star then brings White Chain to a stand of dead prime angels awaiting reincarnation and conducts a tea ceremony on one of the petrified bodies.[16] There, Juggernaut Star commands White Chain to get Allison's key of kings to Zaid and also recounts the history of how Zoss originally obtained his power, but informs White Chain that contrary to her misconception that Zoss killed all the Prime Angels, He actually left Metatron 1 alive, in order to torture him to obtain the names of God. Juggernaut Star then informs White Chain that the key that Allison carries is in fact the original key, the master key.[17] White Chain is confused as to what the Thorns have to do with this these events, and Juggernaut Star advises that White Chain should join them. When White Chain rebukes the Thorn's goals of genocide, Juggernaut Star laments that while they wish to purge Throne, they cannot. The founder of the Thorns, Metatron, wills that Zaid is to be Zoss's heir. Juggernaut Star themself was supposed to kill Zoss, but acted prematurely. In trying to bring both Zaid and the master key directly to Metatron, they instead lost both. Juggernaut Star then orders White Chain to help Allison, who is seeking Zaid, and will thus bring the key to him.[18] White Chain rejects the offer to work for the Thorns in return for her body, to which Juggernaut Star tells her to observe the alternative. In a clearing, several other Thorn knights stand around Liminal Blossom who has been pinned to the ground.[19] The Petal Knight compliments White Chain before telling her to leave, while Juggernaut Star brandishes the wheel of the motorcycle to crush Liminal Blossom. White Chain cries out asking why Juggernaut Star is doing this, and the thorn knight responds that "Metatron Lives!"[20] before killing the petal knight all while the looming face of Metatron watches.[21]

Juggernaut star anger

Juggernaut Star berates White Chain

In the wake of this, Metatron offers White Chain a new body, but she rejects and tries to flee but is intercepted by Juggernaut Star. They are then greeted by 2 Michael who has also left his armor, and elaborates that he and Metatron are aligned in the view that Zaid should be made the heir to Zoss so that order can be brought to the universe again.[22] When White Chain flees again, Juggernaut Star offers to kill White Chain, to which Michael responds that White Chain will return.

Later, after White Chain has accepted Michael's offer, Juggernaut Star arrives at Mottom's Palace above Mykos on their motorcycle. They kill two of the guards on their entrance and proceed to extract the Vacus needle from White Chain's armor, allowing the Root Knight to re-enter her shell.[23] After informing White Chain of their location, Juggernaut Star says that they are supposed to return now, but will not. At that moment, a maid with a trolley of tea enters the hallway,[24] who White Chain subdues non-lethally. Juggernaut Star instructs White Chain to kill the woman, but the root knight refuses. Juggernaut Star then comments on how they find it hilarious that a human has spent their entire lives making something as meaningless as a tea cup.[25] When White Chain affirms that she will never be like Juggernaut Star, the Thorn Knight angrily berates her for her ignorance about the true nature of the universe, and that she is a "freak" unloved by the other angels, and that Juggernaut Star would gladly kill her. Yet the thorn knight then pulls back and says that they cannot, this mission is White Chain's, but nonetheless, devises a competition for White Chain to prove her worth by reaching Allison before they can. Otherwise, Juggernaut Star will kill Allison.[26]

Later, during the War of the Teacups, Allison narrowly dodges Juggernaut Star's wheel, while both them and White Chain jump from an upper balcony. While White Chain grabs Allison's wrist and carries her from the battlefield, Juggernaut Star is struck by a box of teacups and is knocked off balance.[27] Regaining their footing, the Thorn Knight sees Allison and White Chain heading towards the door and begins to pursue, cutting down many combatants in their way.[28] Suddenly they are confronted by Maya, who has charged into battle towards them. As Juggernaut Star reaches out, Maya swings the Maybe Sword, cleaving the angel,[29] and a large section of the room in two. Juggernaut Star says "MISTAKE" before their armor explodes.[30]

Seeker of Thrones[]

Juggernaut Star is awoken by two Mykosian girls who were searching through the debris that fell from Mottom's palace for Maya's wine jar.[31] Manifesting from the buried wheel of the motorcycle, the thorn knight confirms that the armor Maya destroyed wasn't their real body. Maya tells Juggernaut Star that she is in no shape to fight and for the angel to get it over with quickly, but instead of attacking, Juggernaut Star momentarily shows their more human face, lamenting that they are tired.[32] A moment later, their visage reverts back to a skull and they tell Maya that this is not war anymore, and that she is not their adversary. Juggernaut Star then speeds away, but not before saying that this is not mercy, and that they are leaving Maya to "rot in your puerile existence".[33]

King of Swords[]

Juggernaut Star later pulls White Chain from her armor directly into the void during the early stages of the Ring of Power.[34] After White Chain asks if Michael and Metatron grow tired of Juggernaut Star, the latter confessed that they have been punished for acting against order, and that White Chain has fulfilled Michael's commands adequately, but that it is not enough. Pointing to a great vortex of angels in the distance, Juggernaut Star explains that Michael has gathered the angelic host and that a war is coming. Either the heir is installed, or there will be death. They then ask if White Chain is strong enough to do what needs to be done, to which white chain responds that everything is under control. Juggernaut Star derides Allison, saying that she will not listen to reason, that she is rash, impulsive, and cannot be allowed to take the throne. They command that White Chain must do more.[35]

Juggernaut star defeated

Juggernaut star is defeated by Vigilant Gaze

Juggernaut Star teleports into the ring of power in their armor in the aftermath of the Allicio vs White Chain fight.[36] Kicking away Vigilant Gaze, they grab White Chain and tell her to finish the work. When she refuses, Juggernaut Star begins to tear her armor apart.[37] Meanwhile vigilant Gaze is able to finally shake the dust out of his armor and rises to confront the thorn knight, telling them to unhand their sister. Dropping White Chain, Juggernaut Star brandishes their claws and slashes the ground apart underneath Vigilant Gaze.[38] Leaping from stone to stone, Vigilant Gaze begins to say the prayer of forgiveness, but is rebuffed by Juggernaut Star who uses a Pattram Sword Hand technique called Wind of Obliteration. However, on a distant platform, White Chain leaves her armor, reaches out from the void, and pulls Juggernaut Star from their armor, throwing them onto the ashy plain. As she rushes into attack, she see's Juggernaut Star's more human visage and stops.[39] The thorn knight questions White Chain if she knows how futile all her actions are. In response, White Chain expresses empathy, saying that it is not too late, and calls Juggernaut Star her sister. Juggernaut Star replies that late is an irrelevant word, that events will keep repeating until the conquering king is satisfied. With that, they shift back to a skeletal visage and returns to their armor, just as Vigilant gaze launches his attack.[40] Juggernaut Star is hit by Fierce Horse Soul Evil Crushing Fist Great Chariot Cannon, a gigantic energy blast that spans the entire length of the stadium. In the aftermath, Juggernaut Star's armor is burnt and broken, and they are seen leaving as a wisp of flame.[41]

Breaker of Infinities[]

Juggernaut Star does not appear in Breaker of Infinities.
